PRESIDENT BUHARI RECEIVES BRIEFING, DELIGHTED AT IMPROVING STATE OF THE ECONOMY

For almost two hours, President Muhammadu Buhari Monday received briefing from the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Senator Udoma Udo Udoma, the Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, and Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr Godwin Emefiele, after which a delighted President declared that he was pleased with the progress being made on different fronts.

The Ministers and CBN Governor updated the President on the improving state of the economy, implementation of the 2017 Budget, preparation for the 2018 Budget, revenue strategies, combined cost reduction and debt management.

Also discussed were monetary policy strategies and their economic impact, among others.

President Buhari, while reminding the Ministers and CBN Governor that reviving the economy was one of the major planks on which the campaign of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), was based, expressed gladness that things were looking up after two years of yeoman's job.

Urging them to keep at it, the President noted that the main aim of government was to bring succour to Nigerians across all walks of life.

2.When the combine group of Izala and Darika Imams and JNI invited you at both Arewa House and Sultan Bello Mosque for prayer for PMB you neither attended nor sent a representative.
3.When a group of youths led by Hajiya Zuwaira Bakori and others approached you to support them for a PRO Buhari rally in Kaduna you not only turned them down but you ordered the commissioner of police to denief them the permission to do so.
4.You are in the habit of constantly but privately  criticising the Governors of Jigawa and Kano States for according to you wasting public funds to organize prayers for Buhari.
5.While your colleague Governor Fayose and your colleague in obasanjo cabinet Femi Fani Kayode were constantly rubishing the image of PMB you never had the courage to stand up for Buhari by responding to them.
6.You commissioned your media consultant to influence an opinion poll conducted by Aljazeera on PMB medical health issues which turn out negative against Buhari.
7.You pay hundreds millions of Naira to your selected media houses to launder your image and kill negative stories about you but you never deem it fit to do same to Buhari.

10.Each time any group wants to organize a rally for PMB in  Kaduna you instructed your media aide to remind the public of the ban on rallies and public mass procession in Kaduna.
11.During your tenure as a minister you helped charly boy aquire some properties in Abuja and he still remains your close friend.What did you do to stop him from his evil campaign.

A MISSED OPPORTUNITY BY PRESIDENT BUHARI - PDP

When last Friday the Presidency issued a statement intimating the people of the imminent return of President Buhari to the Country after his three-month plus of medical vacation in London with the added bonus of a presidential address on Monday (which is today), not a few Nigerians heaved a sigh of relief, thanking God for delivering our President and expectantly looked forward to a robust speech that would further imbue the Confidence of the people in the Capacity of the Government to continue to take on the Huge Challenges of Governance. However, rather than rekindle that hope and confidence, that speech delivered earlier this morning can most charitably be described as a monumental anticlimax.

(2).  The President and his handlers missed a golden opportunity to reconnect with the people through addressing issues that have direct bearing to their well-being and those of their children and dependents. Indeed, the President’s speech did not contain anything new; just a rehash of statements that already had been made by both government and various leaders of thought across the Country. The PDP had cause to commend the then Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo for going round the Country to engage with relevant stakeholders, which certainly was a better approach.

(3).  The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) believes that rather than rehashing the worn out clichés about Nigeria’s unity not being negotiable, Nigerians would have loved to hear their President come out definitively to tell them what realistic measures his government intended to take to uproot the Causes of the Perennial Agitations and counter agitations that are now becoming a recurring decimal in our national discourse. The Party believes that instead of always mouthing the indivisibility of this Country, the Government should be seen walking the Talk by instilling confidence in all the people across board that it belongs to all.

(4).  The casual mention of ‘elements of Boko Haram'...kidnappings, farmers versus herdsmen clashes’ etc, were also somewhat on the Perfunctory side and do not imbue confidence.

(5).  President Buhari returned to the Country in a week that saw the Closure of all our Public Universities as a result of the Strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). Yet, not even a whimper from our President. Has the future of the future leaders of our Country sunk so low in the Estimation of our current leaders that the Issue was considered not important enough to command a mention in the President’s address?

(6.)  To this end, the PDP once again welcomes the President back home and continues to pray for his total recovery as well as God’s guidance. But we believe Nigerians deserve a richer statement from a President that was away from them for more than a hundred days during which a lot happened that should have elicited more than a mention in that speech.

"Husband Scarcity" has become one of the challenges faced by many young girls today. If you go to prayer houses, majority of the intentions are prayer for a life partner. And this calls for concern. Casting our minds back to the time of our mothers and grandmothers, was there really much of a "Husband Scarcity" problem?

Or, maybe there were more men than women then, or there was an adequate corresponding numbers of both genders. I don't think so. Maybe then, the women had values and were prepared to build a home and not park into a built home.

Then, once a young man comes of age and can at least feed himself and his wife, he goes out in search of a wife and the woman really appreciates him and helps him to build a future. What am I really trying to say? We created what we now see as "Husband Scarcity" for ourselves.

Today, the reverse is the case. Ask an average girl to define her dream husband; you get things like "he has to be tall, handsome, fair, and rich, own a house at least, and be presentable" and then she adds "God fearing" in order not to sound so worldly. Then, check the number of girls around you and the number of men that meet that standard, and you will see the problem.

You hear girls say, "I cannot suffer in my father's house and then go and start suffering with a man." What a wonderful dream! What if from the beginning, you have everything you want and there is no suffering, and later in the marriage, the table turns around, and then comes suffering? Will you run away?

No one prays for suffering, but it is good to start small and end big, than start big and end small. The problem is that the description majority of girls give of their ideal man is virtually the same. When 50 girls want the same kind of man and the man that fits what they want is just 1 man, and the man can only pick one. Then, what becomes of 49 others? They simply start lamenting of "Husband Scarcity".

Another irony of our time is that it is hard, due to the face of our economy to find a man who is of marriage age who possesses all those things these ladies want, legally (except those involved in Internet fraud); even the number of those in Internet fraud is not enough to match all those searching for already made husbands.

If you look around, majority of the ladies of substance, of good value and virtue, who are ready to build a home with a man who has prospects, are married and not complaining of husband scarcity. The easiest way to find a husband now, is to change your view of who a husband is. A husband is that man God made and then saw that it may be hard for him to really actualize his purpose for making him, without a help mate and then made the woman and gave to him, and he felt complete and fulfilled. MARRIAGE IS NOT A POVERTY ALLEVIATION PROGRAM. It is a mission of building the family of God here on earth. For those who see marriage as a way out of poverty, it is a way into bondage. Women are HOME BUILDERS, not HOME WARMERS... DON'T CONFUSE A MAN'S PATH WITH HIS DESTINY.

Another truth is that YOU MAY BE THE ONLY FAST MEANS TO THAT HIS DESTINATION. Join in alleviating "husband scarcity". PICK UP THE RIGHT VALUES. I am not saying that you should pick anyone that comes your way and talks of marriage, not all men are husband materials.

What I am saying is that you should stop setting your standard on material acquisitions or physical appearances. Look beyond the physical. WHAT MAKES A MAN WHO HE IS, IS
NOT WHAT HE OWNS OR HOW HE LOOKS, IT IS WHAT HE IS MADE UP OF. And that which he is made of is, most times, not seen with the physical eyes, only its effects can be seen. Marriage is a permanent thing. Whatever is seen is temporal and that which is not seen is permanent.

1. He sold out Legislative quarters build by Sen. Ahmad Makarfi Governor (1999 - 2007)

2. He sold Ikara Tomatoes Company Build by Malam Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa Governor (1979 - 1981)

3. He sold Zaria Pharmaceutical build by Malam Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa Governor (1979 -1981)

4. He sold Kafanchan Ginger Company build by Malam Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa Governor (1979 - 1981)

5. He sold Kaduna House in Lagos.

6. He sold Kaduna State owned Guest Houses located in HASSAN USMAN Katsina House KAWO.

7. We were told that he has already sold Kasuwan Barci, Station Market, Barnawa Market, Kurmin Mashi Market etc.

8. He is now in the process of selling over 2000 government workers' quarters, houses in kaduna state build by Malam Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa's 18months administration.

9. He sold Kaduna state governors lodge/liaison offices located in some States across the country.

10. He has now put up 5 hotels in Kaduna, Zaria, Saminaka, Kafanchan and Kagoro owned by Kaduna state Government for sale instead of building the 5-Star Hotel he promise.

Very soon if this man is allow to continue, he will likely put up government house, public schools, hospitals and roads for sale because that is what he is good at.

This is a man who has, up till today, initiated, executed and commission single project for the past 2yrs of his administration. This is a man who has not constructed a single block in the state, he has not construct a single standard road of 10KM in the whole of kaduna state within his 2years of rulership.

This is a man who promised to make Kaduna great again but unfortunately after voting him, he is trying by all means to make the state grave.

Instead of making the state look like Dubai he is making it to look like Dafur.

Every sensible government thinking and direction is to increase it state source of revenue by acquiring more assets to the state but ours is busy trying to sale the assets and increase its liabilities before the end of his tenure.

Its time to tell this Man enough is enough or else we allow him to destroy our state, mortgage our future and the future of our children, grand children and that of great-grand children.

We are all eyes and ears widely opened.

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo SAN on Monday said that Federal government was set to reposition and cash on the land size comparative advantage of Niger State to produce food that will feed half of Africa.

He disclosed this at the first Niger State Investment Summit in Minna, Niger state capital.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, immediate past military head of state, General Abdulsalami Abubakar and Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello also strongly canvassed for  single digit interest rate on credit advanced by financial institutions to farmers and for agro-business.

The acting President said that federal government had started a high level discussion with the state government on how to boost agricultural production and agro-business in the state in view of its comparative advantage of he state.

According to him, "the mission is to reposition Niger State to feed at least fifty percent of African countries".

He noted that with a large arable land, reasonable water body and availability of manpower in Niger state, federal government would partner with the state to feed not only the country but half of the African continent.

The acting President, argued that though the task may look tough, in view of the present production level of the state, he maintained that everything required to fulfill  this goal is available in the state.

"Everything to achieve this objective is ready in the state. Niger state has all the resources that are require to feed not only Nigeria but at least half of the African continent.

"Only very few states in Africa have the size of land Niger state has and with this large size of variable land, large water body and  active labour, I see no reason why this objective is not achievable," the acting president stated.

He then commended the initiative of the state government at ensuring conducive environment for agriculture and agro-business.

Meanwhile two former leaders President Olusegun Obasanjo and General Abdulsalami Abubakar as well as Governor Abubakar Sani Bello yesterday called on financial institutions in the country to reduce interest rates to farmers if the country's quest for economic diversification must succeed.

This position was contained in their goodwill messages at the Niger State Investment Summit in Minna on Monday.

The trio frowned at what they described as exorbitant interest lending rate, which they put at between 18 and 25 percent, stressing that the double digit interest rate is not favourable to the development of agriculture and a threat to the nation's quest for economic diversification.

Obasanjo noted that the only thing that can take Nigeria out of its present economic recession is agriculture and agro business as the country's dependence on oil has led to the declined of her economy.

"Agriculture is the only thing that can take Nigeria out of recession. Agro -business is the solution of getting out of recession but there must be availability of funds; the banks must give interest rate that is conducive for agricultural development.

"To give interest rate of double digits is a failure already, except they (Banks) want the farmers to grow cocaine. Farmers and indeed the sector cannot trive with the present interest rate. America's agriculture was developed on 2.5% interest rate. Government must do something to peg the rate to a single digit.

In his mesage, General Abdulsalami Abubakar challenged Banks in the country to come up with low interest rates and arrangement that will encourage farming and farmers.

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo SAN on Monday said that Federal government was set to reposition and cash on the land size comparative advantage of Niger State to produce food that will feed half of Africa.

He disclosed this at the first Niger State Investment Summit in Minna, Niger state capital.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, immediate past military head of state, General Abdulsalami Abubakar and Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello also strongly canvassed for  single digit interest rate on credit advanced by financial institutions to farmers and for agro-business.

The acting President said that federal government had started a high level discussion with the state government on how to boost agricultural production and agro-business in the state in view of its comparative advantage of he state.

According to him, "the mission is to reposition Niger State to feed at least fifty percent of African countries".

He noted that with a large arable land, reasonable water body and availability of manpower in Niger state, federal government would partner with the state to feed not only the country but half of the African continent.

The acting President, argued that though the task may look tough, in view of the present production level of the state, he maintained that everything required to fulfill  this goal is available in the state.

"Everything to achieve this objective is ready in the state. Niger state has all the resources that are require to feed not only Nigeria but at least half of the African continent.

"Only very few states in Africa have the size of land Niger state has and with this large size of variable land, large water body and  active labour, I see no reason why this objective is not achievable," the acting president stated.

He then commended the initiative of the state government at ensuring conducive environment for agriculture and agro-business.

Meanwhile two former leaders President Olusegun Obasanjo and General Abdulsalami Abubakar as well as Governor Abubakar Sani Bello yesterday called on financial institutions in the country to reduce interest rates to farmers if the country's quest for economic diversification must succeed.

This position was contained in their goodwill messages at the Niger State Investment Summit in Minna on Monday.

The trio frowned at what they described as exorbitant interest lending rate, which they put at between 18 and 25 percent, stressing that the double digit interest rate is not favourable to the development of agriculture and a threat to the nation's quest for economic diversification.

Obasanjo noted that the only thing that can take Nigeria out of its present economic recession is agriculture and agro business as the country's dependence on oil has led to the declined of her economy.

"Agriculture is the only thing that can take Nigeria out of recession. Agro -business is the solution of getting out of recession but there must be availability of funds; the banks must give interest rate that is conducive for agricultural development.

"To give interest rate of double digits is a failure already, except they (Banks) want the farmers to grow cocaine. Farmers and indeed the sector cannot trive with the present interest rate. America's agriculture was developed on 2.5% interest rate. Government must do something to peg the rate to a single digit.

In his mesage, General Abdulsalami Abubakar challenged Banks in the country to come up with low interest rates and arrangement that will encourage farming and farmers.

Your Excellency Jonathan, this is the economy you left behind, in case you have forgotten: With due respect to the former President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, these are the facts about the economy you left behind, in case you have forgotten.

I hope this will help to erase the wrong statement credited to you at your party, the PDP Convention at the Eagle Square last weekend that you handed to President Buhari a robustly healthy economy.

To the same extent, this should also help to erase yet another false statement by Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, the Caretaker Chairman of the party, to the effect that under the previous administration there was money but now things are very hard.

Let me start by reasserting an obvious statement, which is that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration was handed an economy ravaged by years of mismanagement and corruption.

It is understandable that Dr. Jonathan kept his comments short, because a cursory look at any sector clearly indicated that he and his Government presided over the most monumental and tragic economic mismanagement recorded in our national history.

The oil sector boomed under his tenure, with oil prices as high as US$ 120 and peace in the Niger Delta. Nigeria earned unprecedented dollar revenues. Sadly, that is where the story turns sour. There is nothing to show for the  revenues earned, no major capital project was completed, neither power generation, road development, rail or agriculture benefitted from the windfall earnings.

Rather the administration presided over  the diversion of oil revenues on such a massive scale, that even without the protection now accorded to Whistle blowers, the then Central Bank Governor blew not only a whistle but a trumpet. He was hurriedly shown the door. Meanwhile, the acquisition by public officers and their cohorts of private jets, luxury yachts and the accumulation of expensive property portfolios world-wide continued unabated. Indeed the President once celebrated having the largest number of private jets, whilst our youth languished without jobs, our fields stood idle and our factories began the lay off of workers.

Government simply reticulated oil revenue  through personal spending by corrupt leaders, wasteful expenses and  salaries. This was done rather than investing in what would grow the economy. Economies grow due to capital investment in assets like seaports, airports, power plants, railways, roads and housing. Nigeria could not record a single major infrastructural project in the last 10 years. In short the money was mismanaged.

Such was the looting that even the goose that was laying the golden egg was being systematically starved. The direct contractual costs of oil produced , in the form of cash calls, remained unpaid.  The incoming, President Buhari’s welcome from the oil majors included  demand for US$6Bn owed by Nigeria for oil that had already been sold or stolen.

At the inception of the current administration, 21 States were unable to meet their salary bills and the specter of workers arrears had commenced. The PDP solution was the raid of the Ecological Fund, and selective grant of N2Bn each to the PDP States. 

It was only aggressive borrowing by the Ministry of Finance under Dr.  Okonjo- Iweala that prevented Federal Government from also owing salaries. The economic wisdom of borrowing to pay recurrent bills is a questionable one, particularly as those paid would have included over 45,000 that have subsequently been removed by the Buhari led administration as ghost workers.  It also included the lavish costs of chartering private jets, first class travel and other wasteful acts that have been eliminated under this administration.

To compound the problem the government was borrowing heavily and owed contractors, and international oil companies. When this government took over we had accumulated debt back to the level it was before the Paris Club Debt Forgiveness.

All these factors were building up to Nigeria heading for a major crisis if the price of oil fell. Nigeria did not have fiscal buffers to withstand an oil shock.

The oil shock should and could have been foreseen.  When Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, ISIS crisis started, it was clear that the United States of America wanted to cut off funds to terror groups by crashing the price of oil. When America granted permission for exploration of oil on land ( Shale) the warning signs were evident, but these were ignored by Nigeria’s economic managers.

In summary Nigeria earned a lot of money when oil prices were high but there is nothing to show for it. Now oil prices have fallen we are suffering.

What could they have done differently?

They could have begun doing the very things that the Muhammadu Buhari administration is doing so painfully now:

1. Fight corruption.

2. Sanitize the huge salary bill by eliminating payroll fraud.

3. Reduce wasteful expenses like First Class Travel and Private jets.

4. Encourage State Governments to reform their spending and build savings or investments.

5. Increase spending on capital projects especially on infrastructure needed to make Nigerian businesses competitive and create jobs.

6. Block the leakages that allowed government revenues to be siphoned into private hands.

7. Focus on key sectors  ( apart from oil) that can create jobs and or generate revenue such as Agriculture, Solid Minerals, and Manufacturing.

If these things had been done when the oil price was as high as US$120 per barrel, Nigeria would not be in the current predicament.

We would not be suffering now if we had no cash reserves but we had power, or a rail system, or good roads, or good housing. But we don’t have money and we don’t have the projects either.

Now that the oil has fallen below those levels, it is very difficult to do what is needed but they must be done to save Nigeria. There is no other way if we want to be honest.

If PDP were still in power they would have continued deceiving people, by borrowing to fund stealing and wastage and the problem would have simply been postponed for future generations to face.

One of former President Jonathon’s specific boasts is that dollar under him was N180 compared to today.  With such a line of argument, it is clear why we are where we are. With oil prices as high as $120 the average inflow of dollars each month was high, making it easy to support cheap dollars. However, with oil price plummeting as low as $28, the fundamental laws of supply and demand dictated that the currency would need to adjust since oil was the sole export.  It is instructive to note that virtually every major oil exporter has witnessed currency adjustments with the fall in oil price.

The Buhari administration has taken a long term strategic view of supporting a stable naira on both the supply and demand sides. President Buhari has driven Import substitution to reduce demand for dollars to buy things we can produce thereby creating thousands of rural jobs in rice and other staples. In addition, there is a credible plan to diversify our revenue sources away from oil, with a focus on export crops as well as solid minerals, with the release of US$100M fund to develop solid mineral extraction.

President Muhammdu Buhari has a  positive and prosperous vision for Nigeria. A nation in which the natural talent and hard work of the people is being supported by an enabling environment for infrastructural development and policy reforms that will develop a firm future for our nation.  Nigerians are looking forward and the PDP’s lurking in the economic rear view mirror only underscores the resolve of Nigerians, that as far as the economy is concerned, it is ‘'never again."

Femi Fani - Kayode (FFK) was quick to preach his misplaced hatred against the Hausa - Fulani and Muslim North immediately the St. Philip's Catholic Church Ozubulu shooting saga was announced. He even claimed he 'knew' the perpetrators even from far away Lagos on the happenings in that remote part of Anambra State more than the sitting State Governor - Willie Obiano and the State Police Commissioner on ground - Garba Umar. The Police Commissioner's only sin is that he is perhaps a Muslim Northerner going by his name and by that he must have fitted into FFK's stereotype perception of the Muslim North!

To FFK, it was sinful for the Police to be efficient and timely in announcing its preliminary findings simply because the findings did not tally with FFK's embedded incurable hatred against Hausa - Fulani and the Muslim North.

He had already announced two perpetrators of the heinous crime  - Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen, as responsible for the Ozubulu sacrilegious killings of innocent worshippers who were attending the early Sunday morning mass.

Now that the TRUTH is so obvious and glaring, one would have expected FFK and people who shamelessly and unjustly insulted and castigated us on this to remorsefully say something like:

"Oh Nigerians, we are deeply sorry it turns out disappointingly this way. We condemn the sacrilegious murder of Christians by Christians in a Church using sophisticated weapons. It is as wrong for Muslims to be killing us as it is wrong for we Christians to be killing ourselves on drug money. .........."

Or something to that effect.

I read an article by a Canada based South Easterner who had argued vehemently barely 24 hours after the Church killings that South Easterners were TOO EDUCATED and TOO CIVILISED to perpetrate such violent murder of Church worshippers! I am still waiting for a retraction from him, and ironically, I have seen none! May be the identified perpetrators are NOT South Easterners or they are NOT civilised or educated! Just the way any other ethnic groups have their own fair share of uneducated/uncivilised population!

But I am yet to hear anything from FFK and the likes! To me, killing of human being by anybody is morally, humanly and ethically bad, unjustifiable and indefensible. But for FFK and his likes, it is ONLY BAD when it is North against South, Muslim against Christians, Hausa - Fulani against any other ethnic group in Nigeria! And that is where and how he revealed his pathological hatred for a group of people, that just like any other group, as this case has now revealed, that has a fair share of its good, bad and ugly members.

Yet, FFK is educated, or so he claimed!

Too bad for a warped Nigerian Elite called Femi Fani - Kayode, a former Presidential Adviser, a former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, a Lawyer, a former Presidential Campaign's Spokesman etc

I was devastated by the Ozubulu killings, but I was more than scared should it turn out to be the way FFK had wanted. While commiserating with the family of the deceased and the Nigerian Christian Community, I want to urge the Police to ensure that justice is done for those who lost their preciously irreplaceable lives by bringing the perpetrators to book. Even the allegations of drug dealings levelled against the so-called Bishop should be investigated and the full wrath of the law applied.

As a Muslim Northerner myself, it was a huge relief for me personally that FFK's motive has been unmasked on this matter. May the soul of the departed rest in the bosom of the Lord.

When the team expressed delight at the much improved health of the President, he retorted: "I feel I could go home, but the doctors are in charge. I've now learnt to obey orders, rather than be obeyed."

On how he felt hearing different conjectures about his health, an amused President Buhari said he followed events at home closely, lauding Nigerian television stations, and the media generally, for keeping him informed.

When told that prayers were going on fervently for him, not only in Nigeria, but all over Africa, and round the world, a delighted President said: "What we did in The Gambia early this year fetched us a lot of goodwill on the African continent. It gave us a lot of latitude. I thank all those who are praying. May God reward them."

Recently, I had been into series of arguments with co-workers and friends from organizations and online media chats regarding the leeway of APC wining the 2019 general election. I stopped piercing my mouth and wasting my saliva on the hoodlums that lack evidence.  I believe most Nigerians are now wise enough.  And I also believe that there are unschooled among the few Nigerians who resort to hate speech and waylaying the truth to reach the ears of the common citizens. Thank God, not like Femi Fanni Kayode, I resort to giving free awareness that may give hope to the Nigerians- regardless of religion or region.
As many of you may be aware how Nigerians badger General PMB into accepting to throw his hat into the political ring once more in order to rescue the country from its eve of disintegration and collapsing in the hands of LOOTERS like Femi Fanni Kayode and co. Thank God, PMB accepted our cries and came with a method of BALANCING ACT (giving care and attention to two or more activities at the same time)- fortifying the collapsed economy (through Agriculture) and curbing the dread insurgency (BOKO HARAM)
Why am I optimistic?
First and foremost, let me make it clear that Buhari’s administration has so far done more than my expectations; for I never thought the old Baba could clear the wreckages of past administration and successfully plant lively future in just two years.  More so, I have never heard or read of any administration that successfully fulfilled its campaign promises in just two years. What did Buhari promise? Diversification of economy towards agriculture, fighting against corruption and security. I believe even the dump myopic FFK must attest that the administration is so rapid in achieving its goal.
Maybe some Nigerians may not be aware. Let me tell them. The past administration, according to NNPC, has earned a total of $440 billion oil revenue in 5years. That was the highest in the history of Nigeria. What happen with the money? This administration has inherited zero in the foreign reserve, $1.2billion unpaid loan from foreign countries (that the past administration collected to pay salaries) N600billion unpaid fuel subsidy bill, N80billion unpaid fertilizer bill and 33 states owing salaries. But PMB paid all the unpaid, gave bailouts to the states with prize of oil crashing from $120 per barrel to $30 per barrel.
Go to the village and ask your grandfather, what he could not achieve for the fast 50years of his farming career, has successfully achieved in the last two years. This is the president that transformed the minds of Nigerian youths towards patronizing Nigerian made. I have never lived in this country where the Nigerian is proud to eat and wear Nigerian made. Today, the reach and the pauper eat the same Nigerian-sand-free rice.
I now believe you believe with me that the Nigeria, as it is now, needs Baba Buhari to continue for more than 20years; lest the squanderers may take us to minus zero which getting someone to resuscitate it could be as hard as stopping Femi Fanni Kayode from barking.

Sir, regarding your recent statement where you said that you would rather die than trust a Yoruba man. I know exactly what you meant and I deliberately named myself a demon so as to align with your predefined impression on the sons and daughters of Oduduwa. I couldn’t even believe my eyes when I read recently that you said every Nigerian is a child of Satan. So you are the child of God? A political and religious leader you already are and I’m always marvelled at the way your people kneel before you to pay homage and take blessings. Some even call you their god.

I just need you to sit, think about what will become of Biafra after you gain your independence (if you ever do). How your people will fair and how long your people will suffer before you realise you have missed some steps in your fight of freedom. I really respect your charisma and I’ll love to be like you in tackling my quests, just that I will add a bit of smartness and humility.

Interestingly, I met a zoologist who told me that disproportionate, unwarranted or excessive barking; whining; growling and howling (just like that of Fami Kayode) can be defined by frustration and hunger.  Just imagine or even imaging you have dogs and one of the dogs is glutton, egocentric, egoistic or egotistic: a carbon copy of FFK, what will you do to gag it? You have to feed it with its siblings’ share. And if you don’t, expect barking disproportionately.  Most of you may be aware that FFK is an unsurpassed mentally psychotic barker of present generation.  But most of you may not be aware of why the frustrated FFK is barking excessively. I know.

 Shortly after he was invited by Jonathan in the presidential Villa in Abuja, he denounced his membership with APC and became a barking dog to Oga Jona. At that time, when Jonathan needed a strong professional vocal mugger, FFK swiftly left APC for  PDP. He never thought he had backed the wrong horse.

Prior to 2015 general election, Jonathan paid two billion naira to DAAR communication to provide time for his barking dog to shriek knowing fully well that he was a barefaced liar.  He cannot understand head nor tail of any government without financial misappropriation. The landslide victory of Baba Buhari is a clear fact that a government with barking dogs like FFK is a botched Government.    

Don’t be surprised. Fani-Kayode was detained on December 2008 by the EFCC and charged with 47 counts of financial laundering.

In 2008, Femi Fanni Kayode was accused of stealing about N100m while he was Minister of Culture and Tourism.

In 2014, he was accused of mismanaging 1.2 m while he was a minister.

Please will you be surprised if you hear such a bandit barking against the government that blocked his source of larceny?

As regard to his family life, Femi Kayode married one Saratu in 1987. After deflowering her, he divorced her and married Yemisi Olasunbo Adeniji in 1991. She was divorced too in 1995. He then married Regina-Hanson Amonoo in 1997 and kicked her immediately she conceived.  He then married to Precious Chikwendu.  

According to naij.com, he was said to have disowned three of his children (because he had a new girlfriend who does not want them)

These are signs of contaminated mind, a sully head . I advise his relatives to consult the nearest psychological centre.

*Running for Office* — Whatever age they are, young people can run for office anywhere in the world as an act of protest; to make a stand; or to draw attention.

*Building momentum for single candidates requires they remain committed to the causes that get them elected; pushing a political party or platform requires staunch champions for youth in politics.*

*Youth as Voters* — Fighting for youth suffrage and demanding youth rights is a platform for youth voters. Another avenue for youth as voters is a protest vote. Going to a voting place and casting a blank ballot can show youth dissatisfaction with the current political system. *Youth as voters can also vote for a youth candidate who may be foreign to the political system, but young and capable of sharing youth voice.*

Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, Friday, paid a personal visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at Abuja House, London.
The Archbishop and President Buhari are friends, who share deep respect for each other.

Archbishop Welby said he was delighted to see the rapid recovery President Buhari has made from his health challenges, noting that it was a testimony to the healing powers of God, and answer to prayers of millions of people round the world.

The cleric pledged to continue praying for both President Buhari and Nigeria.
In his response, the Nigerian President thanked Archbishop Welby, whom he noted had always stood by him at critical times, and wished him God's continued grace in his spiritual duty of leading the Anglican Communion worldwide.

It will be recalled that when former British Prime Minister, David Cameron described Nigeria as a "fantastically corrupt" country ahead of an anti-corruption summit in London in 2016, Archbishop Welby had retorted: "But this particular President (Buhari) is actually not corrupt."

The Archbishop later personally received the Nigerian President at Lambeth Palace, London, and had also paid a goodwill visit to President Buhari in March this year, during his medical vacation.

I've been wanting to define the political panorama of Suleiman Hunkuyi the same way I defined that of the ever existing political prostitute in Nigeria; Atiku Abubakar in the Nigerian political context but I really had to wait for a scenario and an unfolding of this nature to occur. The duo have the same political desperation. As Atiku Abubakar is against President Muhammadu Buhari led-administration so is Suleiman Hunkuyi against Mal. Nasir Elrufai and his administration now.

Everybody in Nigeria knows about Atiku's political antecedents, a political prostitute, who doesn't care and have no shame criss-crossing one party after another, not to save the masses but to have his way. The same thing goes to Suleiman Hunkuyi just like people in Kaduna knows about Hunkuyi's. This is 2017, so the Senator shouldn't deceive himself thinking that it is still 2007 amidst his deception tactics when most heads were in darkness.

The first time I see Hunkuyi in APC, I was curious and nervous deep inside me. Curious to see this day because I was sure its bound to happen as he's remain the replica of Atiku Abubakar of Kaduna State which can easily predict their next and shameless political move.

Those with a perfect political prediction and analysis knows that Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi would never maintain his political relationship with Mal. Nasir Elrufai just like Atiku to PMB purposely because of their ambition and their political miscalculation.

The Senator no matter what wants to be the next Kaduna State Governor. So should he maintain his political relationship with Mal. Nasir Elrufai even though he's sure that Mal. Nasir El-Rufai is going for the second tenure and surely will make it through due to his remarkable achievements? I don't think so, hence the reason for breaking the relationship.

His political calculation/miscalculation is that the only way to realize his political dream and become the next Kaduna State Governor is first; break the political relationship with El-Rufai because definitely Elrufai is vying for the second term, he would be elected because he's been the outstanding and best Governor and this narrow his (Hunkuyi) chance and secondly; the Senator must stick and stay at APC because he's sure APC will continue ruling the state hence the reason for his stay.

So the Senator is confused and lost completely. What should he do then?
He thought (wrongly) that the best way is to join forces with the so-called APC AKIDA, fight the Governor himself and his administration which brought about the issue of stage-managing political crises and propaganda (NUJ Secretariat attack and his Shopping Mall demolition) in order to attract attention and political sympathy.

The issue is that even if one would become a political spectator, watching what transpires in the other faction called APC-AKIDA, the political actors therein and their ambitions, the political journey wouldn't last due to each existing selfish interest, each existing political ambition, therefore, within short time each will find his way. I am sure.

This is my call; if one would believe what Atiku Abubakar says against President Muhammadu Buhari led-administration, one should as well believe what Suleiman Hunkuyi says against Mal. Nasir Elrufai led-administration.

The duo's political desperation and usurpation is the same. Their political manoeuvre, deception and political tactics is the same and happily we're all watching them as we can predict their next political move.

E.​ In another development, the Acting President, with powers conferred on the President by Recovery of Public Property (Special Provisions) Act Cap R4, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 has approved the setting up of a Special Presidential Investigation Panel for the Recovery of Public Property.

The Chairman of the Panel is Chief Okoi Obona-Obla, Special Assistant to the President on Prosecution.  Mr. Akingbolahan Adeniran is the Secretary to the Panel.

Na tattaro wasu dalilai dana gani, da kuma na sani... Yawanci bamu san ginshikan dake rike auren cikin farin ciki ba, abinda kawai muke rububin sani shine *kwanciya*  da *rainon yara* da *zaman hakuri* har mu mace.

ta yaya aure da zamantakewa zata yi kargo a haka? Bayan ansan kyauta yaba tukuici ce, duk soyayyar data rasa armashin kulawa, tarairaya da lokaci raunata take.
Shuka tana yaduwa tayi kyau ne da taimakon ruwa da taki. Me yasa zamantakewar auren mu yake a sake sakaka kamar bata bukatar ruwa da taki ba?
